Tobey Maguire played an unusually supportive role at ex-wife Jennifer Meyer’s wedding to music executive Geoffrey Ogunlesi, officiating the couple’s ceremony in Hawaii only weeks after his own divorce from Meyer was finalized.
Meyer and Ogunlesi married on October 10 at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai. The ceremony brought together their blended family as well as a high-profile guest list.
Maguire takes center stage at the ceremony
Maguire, who shares daughter Ruby and son Otis with Meyer, presided over the wedding. The former couple separated in 2016 and finalized their divorce in September 2026, but they have continued to describe a close co-parenting relationship.
Meyer and Ogunlesi also welcomed a daughter earlier this year. Their wedding guests reportedly included Leonardo DiCaprio, Courteney Cox, Rachel Zoe, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.
A close blended family
Meyer has previously spoken about the friendly relationship between Maguire and Ogunlesi, explaining that the extended family celebrates holidays and birthdays together. Maguire’s role as officiant offered a striking example of that bond.
The Hawaii ceremony marked a new chapter for Meyer while also highlighting the unusually warm relationship she has maintained with her former husband.
