Emmerdale is pushing Sadie King into another dangerous scheme as Joe Tate recruits her to help bring down Caleb and Ruby Miligan.
In episodes airing between October 11 and 16, Joe’s desire for revenge intensifies and he asks Sadie to spy on the Miligans. Sadie quickly develops a riskier strategy of her own: she believes she can seduce Caleb and use the attraction to drive a wedge between him and Ruby.
Sadie targets Caleb and Ruby
Joe warns Sadie not to underestimate the strength of Caleb and Ruby’s relationship, but she remains confident she can manipulate the situation. Her growing friendship with Ruby gives her an opening, particularly as a drinking game begins to loosen tongues and reveal secrets.
Cain Dingle is less convinced that Sadie’s intentions are harmless. He becomes suspicious when she makes it clear she plans to remain in the village and warns Caleb that she could destroy his life.
Caleb, however, believes he is too clever to fall into her trap — confidence that could make him even more vulnerable if Sadie’s plan begins to work.
Joe Tate’s revenge plan gets bigger
The storyline also includes another mysterious element as Joe is later seen carrying a brown briefcase, suggesting his revenge campaign has more moving parts than Sadie realizes.
