TMZ reported at 4:34pm PT that there was activity “in the last 25 minutes.”
“We’ve seen activity for the first time in the Bitcoin account listed in the first ransom note which was sent to us here at TMZ, and also to 2 TV stations in Tucson. For various reasons, we are not going to reveal the amount,” the outlet reported.
It has been reported that the ransom note demanded $6 million and that the deadline past without any payment. It’s unclear what is happening right now though.
Investigators think they know where the kidnapper is from and we’ve also seen the first photos of the suspect.
