Raven-Symoné is returning to The View, nearly a decade after leaving the daytime talk show’s permanent panel.
The actress and television personality is set to guest co-host on October 15 and 16 as ABC continues celebrating the program’s milestone 30th season. She will join the current panel at the Hot Topics table for the two-day appearance.
A familiar face returns to the Hot Topics table
Raven-Symoné previously served as a regular co-host from 2015 to 2016. Her time on the program produced plenty of memorable live-TV moments, and her return gives longtime viewers a chance to see how she fits into the show’s current lineup.
The 30th-season celebration has provided opportunities for several former personalities to revisit the program. Raven-Symoné’s appearance follows the same anniversary theme, connecting the present-day panel with different eras of The View.
Raven and Miranda Maday will also join the show’s podcast
The return extends beyond the television broadcast. Raven-Symoné and her wife, Miranda Maday, are also scheduled to appear on Behind the Table, the companion podcast hosted by executive producer Brian Teta.
The couple already work together in podcasting, giving the appearance an additional connection to Raven-Symoné’s current projects. Since leaving The View, she has continued acting, producing and developing projects across television and digital media.
