Whitney Way Thore is putting her hopes for motherhood at the center of the new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, with an emotional trailer showing the reality star taking a pregnancy test.
The 42-year-old has moved back to Charlotte and is dating Jake Beaudoin, while also exploring her options for becoming a mother. The new footage shows Thore discussing fertility, donor sperm and the complicated questions surrounding her relationship.
A major new chapter
People’s exclusive preview shows Thore becoming emotional after looking at the result of a pregnancy test, though the trailer does not reveal the outcome. Beaudoin also appears to propose, creating another major question for the season.
Thore has been open for years about her personal life, health and changing ambitions on the TLC series. The new storyline appears to move the show into especially personal territory as she weighs romance against her desire to start a family.
The new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life is scheduled to premiere November 10 on TLC.
