Hunter Schafer Turns NYCC Into a Fashion Moment With Fresh-Off-the-Runway Prada Look

Hunter Schafer turned a New York Comic Con appearance for Blade Runner 2099 into a major fashion moment by stepping out in a Prada look taken directly from the fashion house’s Spring 2027 runway.

Vogue reported that Schafer joined co-stars including Michelle Yeoh, Matthew Needham and Dimitri Abold for the Prime Video miniseries’ Comic Con panel while wearing a graphic pink-and-black pencil skirt with a mint-and-black tube top.

Prada goes to Comic Con

Styled by Dara Allen, the outfit was identified as look 35 from Prada’s Spring 2027 collection by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons. Schafer completed the ensemble with patent mule stilettos, giving the look a sleek 1990s-inspired finish.

The appearance continued Schafer’s close relationship with Prada and reinforced her reputation for using promotional events as fashion showcases rather than relying on conventional red-carpet dressing.

Blade Runner 2099 enters the spotlight

The fashion moment arrived as anticipation builds around Blade Runner 2099, Prime Video’s expansion of the science-fiction franchise. The series also stars Michelle Yeoh and has been one of the prominent television projects showcased during the convention.

Schafer’s Comic Con look quickly became part of the weekend’s wider celebrity-fashion conversation, showing how major fan events increasingly overlap with high-fashion launches.
