Noah Kahan has added another career first to a year already filled with major milestones: his first Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards nomination.
The singer-songwriter is nominated in the Favorite Male Breakout Artist/Group category at the 2026 ceremony. Kahan responded to the news with characteristic humor, joking on social media that years of hard work had finally brought him closer to one of pop culture’s most recognizable honors: getting slimed.
Noah Kahan’s 2026 momentum continues
The nomination arrives as Kahan continues to expand beyond the success that made him a household name with songs such as Stick Season. His album The Great Divide reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year, strengthening his position as one of the most prominent singer-songwriters of his generation.
Kahan has also entered the film soundtrack world. He released Draw You Out for the upcoming movie The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, describing the opportunity to contribute to the franchise as especially meaningful.
When are the 2026 Kids’ Choice Awards?
The 2026 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards are scheduled for November 14 and will air across Nickelodeon, CBS and Paramount+. The event is known for combining fan-voted awards with performances, comedy and its signature green slime.
For Kahan, the nomination is another sign of how far his audience has expanded. His music first built a devoted following through introspective songwriting and folk-pop production, but his recent chart success and high-profile soundtrack work have pushed him into an even broader mainstream spotlight.
Whether or not he ultimately takes home the award, Kahan appears more than ready to embrace the playful side of the ceremony.
