Robert Carradine has sadly passed away at 71, and his cause of death has been revealed.
The actor was best known for playing Lewis Skolnik in the four Revenge of the Nerds movies, as well as playing Hilary Duff‘s dad in the Lizzie McGuire series and movie.
Prior to his passing, Robert spoke out amid the Hollywood strikes a few years ago, and revealed his shockingly low residual checks.

Taking to Instagram in 2023, Robert shared a check he received from Disney in 2019, seemingly for residuals. It was for $0.00.
“Why we’re striking,” he simply captioned the post at the time.
It was not immediately clear if Robert had received additional funds for his roles with Disney. Nor is it clear what the pay period was for the check. However, fans were shocked.
Celebrity Net Worth reports that Robert was worth $300,000 at the time of his passing.
He made his first appearances on TV Western series, including Bonanza and Kung Fu. His first film role was in the 1972 film The Cowboys. The last film released that he was in was 2024′s The Night They Came Home. He was also in the TV series Tales of the Wild West in 2019.
