Mandy Moore‘s quote about friendships is now making the rounds online.
The 41-year-old entertainer made an appearance on the “Conversations with Cam” podcast and was asked, “Do you feel like you have seen a friendship sort of take a different course?”
Mandy‘s friendships have been under a microscope since Ashley Tisdale wrote an essay about the “toxic mom group” that she parted ways with.
After the essay was published, some began speculating if the group was one involving Mandy and some other celebs. By the way, Ashley‘s rep went ahead and denied this, however, there is still a ton of speculation.

In response to this podcast question, Mandy said, “I have friends who have kids that are older, let’s say. And I have found that the people I am closest with in my life right now are people who are kind of at the same chapter of their lives as parents. Like, we have kids the same age and I’ve had to sort of mourn in a way, not the loss of those friendships, but like how they’ve, they’ve changed.”
“Yeah, I have friends who have kids the exact same age as mine, I have friends who have kids that are older and I have friends who don’t have children and don’t know if they want to have children. I think that it’s no one’s fault and no one’s doing anything wrong, and it doesn’t mean you love anyone less. But the reality is you’re going to be in more contact with the people whose kids are your exact age,” the host Cameron Rogers added.
