Lana Del Rey‘s ex-fiancé is looking for love on The Bachelorette.
Earlier this week, ABC announced the 22 men that will be vying for Taylor Frankie Paul‘s heart on the upcoming 22nd season of the dating reality competition show.
One of those men happens to be Clayton Johnson, who was previously engaged to the 40-year-old “Summertime Sadness” singer.
Keep reading to find out more…If you didn’t know, Lana and Clayton, 36, first sparked dating rumors in August 2020 when they started following each other on Instagram. Months later, it was announced in December that they were engaged after the Grammy-nominated singer was seen wearing a diamond ring while appearing on The Tonight Show. The two eventually went their separate ways, but it’s unclear exactly when they split.
If you didn’t know, Clayton was a vocalist and guitarist in the band The Johnsons, where he used to sing pop-tinged tracks alongside his brothers, Chantry and Connor.
In his official bio released by ABC, Clayton is described as a 36-year-old singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee.
“Clayton is a true Southern gentleman who just hasn’t found the right one yet,” his bio reads. “This talented musician is searching for a love that’s loyal, nurturing, and built to last a lifetime. When he’s not writing or recording music, Clayton enjoys escaping the city to spend time in nature with his dog, Oliver.”
“Clayton is caring, attentive, and more than willing to go above and beyond for the woman he loves,” the description continues. “He once even handmade a scrapbook filled with his favorite shared memories. Clayton calls himself a lover boy and is ready to write love songs for the woman of his dreams. He’s beyond excited to meet Taylor and has romantic surprises already planned for her.”
The bio also states that Clayton “LOVES flower bouquets,” “enjoys a good trail ride on horseback,” and has visited every continent besides Antarctica.
