Eric Murphy and Jasmin Lawrence are going to be parents!
Eight months after it was revealed that Eddie Murphy‘s son and Martin Lawrence‘s daughter married in a private, intimate ceremony, the newlyweds announced that they are expecting their first child.
Keep reading to find out more…Jasmin, 30, shared the exciting news on Instagram while sharing photos from her maternity shoot, which include a black and white shot of Eric, 36, resting his head on her growing baby bump.
“Thank you Jesus for the greatest gift ❤️❤️❤️” Jasmin captioned the post.
Martin reshared the photos on his own Instagram and congratulated the couple.
“What a blessing to start the day! My heart is overflowing with love and gratitude after the announcement of my first grandchild!” Martin wrote. “Watching @jasmin_lawrence and @ericmurphy777 begin this journey into parenthood means everything to me.”
“Family is everything—and this moment is nothing less than a blessing from God,” he added. “Welcome to the next generation! #blessed #prouddad #family.”
Eric and Jasmin first went public with their relationship in July 2021 and got engaged in November 2024. They then eloped in May 2025.
