Russell Brand is entering a plea.
The 50-year-old British comedian entered a not guilty plea on Tuesday (February 24) while facing a further count of rape and one count of sexual assault in relation to two women, unrelated to other charges he’s facing.

These alleged offenses took place in 2009 according to the Crown Prosecution Service, via AP.
The charges come in addition to facing similar charges involving four women.
He was charged in April with two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault. Those incidents allegedly took place between 1999 and 2005. He also pled not guilty to those charges earlier in 2026.
A trial has been set for June of this year.
Russell Brand was granted bail in January.
